As we all know there are many good quality of joomla templates available online which can be change or customize from designing as well as from the sizing pint of view.
Let discuss on How to change the width of Joomla template as well as the width of any side columns within the template. Let go back to the backend of admin panel
Now go to Extension
Click on Template Manager
Choose your Template that needs to be resized you can click the check box and click on edit or simply click on the template
Once you Open the Template it will look similar to the below image
Now click on the Dimensions on the right hand side
Please note down the original width of the template incase you want to revert to original setting, From here you can start changing the width and other areas of your website
How it looks when we change the template width from 1000 PX to 1400 Px
Similarly you can change the Position width of your template by adjusting the other areas.
You can click on save to check the desire result, that can be check in the front end of the website. If you are not satisfied repeat the process till the final result.
